From its inception, there have always been two subsects of Sabbat Justice, but only recently did these separate entities become known to outsiders...
When most people think of Sabbat Justice, it is the group known as the Justicars that they picture. Cold, remorseless, and unrelenting, the Justicars serve as the crushing fist of the Darkness, butting a wide swath through the opposition while sowing the seeds of Fear and Despair in their wake. Famed -- and feared -- for their impartiality, a Justicar often serves as an intermediary, arbiter, or other neutral role before passing judgement -- and often carrying out sentencing as well. Although the individual methods may differ from one to another, all Justicats are capable of inflicting swift and grievious harm on those who dare to stand against them. One Justicar is a force to approach with great caution, two together are all but unstoppable, and anything greater than two could very well be harbingers of the Apocalypse.
If the Justicars embody the terror and strength of the Darkness, then the group known as the Arcana represent its mystery and cunning. Seers, scryers, soothsayers, and sages, the Arcana interpets the whims of the Darkness, gleaning information and insight from whatever mathod they find most comfortable, be it Tarot, meditation, rune stones, I Ching, or whatever -- although most Arcana steer clear of Demonology, séances, and the like, as such practices rely on external sources that are often untrustworthy at best. Although not as formidible as Justicars, members of the Arcana are far from helpless should they become threatened; they often prefer the use of trickery and guile to out-maneuver their foes to the point where they become vulnerable to a final strike. In addition, their mastery of the Sight grants them uncanny preparedness in most situations -- one Arcane can quickly become three before the attacker(s) has time to realize it.
Now that the two groups have merged in the UWF, the distinction between the two groups has become even more blurred than previously. The male singles competitors are referred to as the Justicars, while the Romanis have changed their team name to the Arcana to reflect the gathering. While the female members, known collectively as the Coven, consist of members of both groups, they can generally be divided along the same lines (singles/tag = Justicars/Arcana), giving the group as a whole 50-50 symmetry.
