The past of the dark Vehemence has been very traumatizing. When he was a small boy, he was beaten frequently by his violent father and would often be too hurt to move the next day.
When Vehemence was eleven, his father did the unthinkable. He lit his own house on fire, trying to kill his wife, son and himself. Vehemence almost choked to death on the smoke and heat, but was able to escape through his bedroom window and walk two miles down the road to the local hospital. He had second and third degree burns on his arms, chest and face. It was a miracle that he survived.
In the sixteenth month of his rehibilitation, he was approached by a young couple looking to adopt a young boy. He was released from the hospital and moved in with the couple, whose names are unknown. Although he was brought up caringly for the next six years, he couldn't live with the guilt of his father's insanity and ran away from home.
On a black, rainy night in September of 1998, five years after Vehemence dissapeared, a young man was visiting the grave site of his mother. The man was dressed in a white robe with a Catholic cross sewn onto the side and was holding a pot of flowers. Just as the man put the flowers onto the gravestone, he heard a loud clang of metal to his left. In the shadows, he saw a large man kneeling down and crying by another gravestone. He approached the man and comforted him. The large man was Vehemence, kneeling at the grave site of his parents. Noticing the size of Vehemence, the man, now known as Altar Boy, convinced Vehemence to train to fight and compete in federations in search for glory and to calm his guilt and anger.
One month later, Vehemence and Altar Boy entered the GEWF. There they met the founders of Sabbat Justice. They immediately joined, finding a new purpose and a place to belong. They later joined the WWA with their fellow members. With Altar Boy as a guide, Vehemence helped his stablemates rise quickly to prominence. He helped Avanter in what is probably the only match that ever got Sabbat Justice a "face pop": the Disneyland Destruction match, where they totally dominated the Attack Dogs and made them more deformed than Vehemence could ever hope to be.
Unfortunately, Vehemence disappeared soon after the death of Altar Boy. He lost his direction and despite efforts from his fellow members left the WWA to find his path again.
