I started E-wrestling in mid-1998 with the Fanatasy Championship Wrestling Federation after Pedro Boyd asked me to join. The fed closed within a few months and I took a short break to concentrate on college. Later that year, the "bug" bit me again and I signed up for the World Wrestling Association.
In the FCWF, my character Tigress was little more than a Steve Austin clone. I decided Tigress needed to be a better defined character after moving on to the WWA. So I asked myself questions, such as "How did Tigress get her scar?" and "Why is she always so pissed?"
I met with good success, but I had trouble keeping angles going because other handlers were unreliable. When I noticed that, I approached Chris Ingersoll, with whom I had developed a good relationship, about doing an angle.
At first, the angle was intended to initiate a stable war between the two most powerful stables during the time, Sabbat Justice and The Best of the Best. However, BotB handlers were uncooperative, so Chris and I turned it into an angle between our characters. At the angle's conclusion, I thought that it would make a good story in prose and started work on converting into a story.
I've deviated from the original angle in some places. Calvin Coleman (whom I "borrowed," among other characters, for the story) plays a much larger role in the story than he did in the angle. I also added parts that makes the story flow better and changed parts that worked angle-wise, but didn't make much sense in a story.
I hope you enjoy it as much as Chris and I enjoyed forging the angle and subsequent story. So click on the golden arrow below and start reading.
Cheers,
